Rooms close to the Central Market in Florence

One of the best parts of staying in Corte Guelfa’s rooms is being close to Florence’s historic Central Market in Florence.

The San Lorenzo market is situated only 290 metres away. It can be quickly reached with just a short walk down Via Guelfa towards Via San Zanobi, Via Panicale, Piazza del Mercato Centrale, Via Panicale and Via dell’Ariento.

One of the city’s most characteristic sites, this market has something to offer to all its visitors and is divided into two sections. The indoor area, also known as the Central Market, is mostly dedicated to food, whereas the outdoor area extends along the surrounding narrow streets and features charming stalls with leather goods, local handicrafts, clothes and souvenirs.

Corte Guelfa’s guests can choose from two types of rooms close to the Central Market in Florence.

The Standard Room can host up to two people and features a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom.

The Superior Double Room is suited for up to three people and boasts a bedroom with a double bed (which can be separated into two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower. Upon request and at no additional charge, they can also add a crib for children up to three years old.

The second floor is open 7 days a week from 10.00 to midnight.

It extends across 3000 square metres and provides 500 seats and 12 stalls dedicated to Italian culinary specialities such as cheese, Chianti wine and baked goods that visitors can purchase or eat on site.
